Though Rue's humans say she immediately showed them her “resilience” and was a perfect fit for their family from the beginning, it's not always that easy. Some rescued dogs are in rough shape due to their unknown past. It's truly inspirational seeing these dogs bounce back and love life more than any other creature. Us humans could definitely learn a thing or too from them.

"In July of 2024, Rue came to us from the shelter after she and her sister Katniss were placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. 🤍
Despite everything she had already experienced at such a young age, Rue showed us right away how resilient she was. She settled into our home beautifully, did amazing with our dogs, and quickly proved to be such a sweet, gentle, and happy girl.
Every bath, walk, and training session helped prepare her for the life she was always meant to have." -

It's commonly known that dogs truly despise bath time, but that's just not true for some dogs. Some truly appreciate that warmth of the water, the scrub of a gentle, loving hand, and the feeling of cleanliness after it all. Rue is a perfect example of that! Sure, it probably took some training to get her to the point she is now during bath time, but still just as cute. She looks like she is having the best day at doggy spa.

If only there were a spa you could take your pet to so you can both have a nice spa day together. Perhaps Rue and her humans can create a space like that! Of course, the dogs would have to be trained first. But, tbh, the humans should probably be trained too.
